    This action is difficult because not all grocery stores have bulk food. I am planning to shop at my local co-op more and bring my own containers for spices, greens, and grains and to be on the look out for bulk food.

    From the website links, I learned that I can still cut off moldy bits, brown and bruised fruit is still safe to eat, and that spoiled pasteurized milk is safe for baking. This knowledge will keep me from throwing many items away in the future.

    One thing I have learned is that there's a deal for 2/$5, you don't have to buy 2 to get the deal. I also remind myself that even if something is on sale, if it wasn't on my list and I decide to buy it, then I am actually not saving money because I'm still spending extra, regardless of the sale price.

    I would definitely be willing to buy imperfect produce. I usually try to buy the bananas that don't look perfect and aren't in bunches, because those are picked last and might otherwise be thrown away.
