Waste prevention

Prevent waste by checking each bag of greens, veggies in fridge each day--kale, mixed greens, herbs, etc. and then eating up or freezing items that are beginning to wane.

    Storage Rotate My Foods
How has rotating your foods changed your awareness of what you have on hand? Have you changed any of your shopping habits because of this practice?

enormously helpful. Surfaced foods to eat up and motivated me to use up food from our pantry, like dry beans.

Today I did an inventory of my fridge, tossing out mostly small amounts of moldy tomato sauce, cheese (kept the good parts), unknown liquids, and a 1/8 cup of home-made cough syrup.   I also made stir fry using up leftovers---kale, bok choi, onions,  parsley, carrots, black beans,  and chick peas. I placed extra  carrots in a glass of water.

I've done 3-4  Food Waste challenges through Hennepin County so I have lots of current FW practices. Will probably address clutter accumulation in this challenge.
